Virtual Solitude Retreat for the Beginning of Lent
Saturday February 21st 12p-4p
Ok, so when you think about “Solitude Retreat” the word “virtual” probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind, but there is some pretty incredible potential here. We can truly experience the Lord in a pretty profound way.
We all long to get more extended time with the Lord, but what has kept us from doing that? Follow through, accountability, and motivation. Sure, we all long to get 3-4 hours of uninterrupted time with God but we get busy, we get distracted, we come up with excuses, and the good longing to be with God…gets lost in the fray of life.
In this retreat we begin with a commitment to give God our time, collectively, and we then gather in our own individual spaces whether that be a park, our bedroom, a quiet place in the woods, etc. This retreat will offer helpful guidance, prayer, and encouragement so that you can get the most out of your time alone with God. With the time being saturated in prayer, participants will then spend time alone with the Lord, and then come back at the end to debrief and receive encouragement.
This is a wonderful way to begin the season of Lent. Lent is a natural time for self reflection, to pursue the heart and love of God, and to re-order our lives around His goodness.
The retreat begins the first Saturday of Lent, February 21st at 12p and ends at 4p
The cost for the retreat is $20. and can be made here: RETREAT PAYMENT
Once you sign up you’ll be given a helpful guide to make the best of the virtual Solitude retreat. You will then be given a link for the virtual retreat.
